DIY Eyelash & Eyebrow Growth Serum

Full brows and long, fluttery lashes are two of my key staples. I sport them both at every given opportunity because brows frame the face while lashes open the eyes and make them striking. I just don't feel like me without them and whether you like them too or just love long lashes - I don't think many of us would complain about a little help in that department would we?

Well I'm letting you into a little beauty secret that a lot of indian women swear by for stimulating hair growth and one you won't have to go to the ends of the earth to get. All you will need is two things:

- Castor Oil
- Coconut Oil

This may not come as a surprise to some because Castor Oil is fast becoming recognised in the beauty world for its miracle abilities but its almost PVA glue consistency is it's impractical downfall. In order for the serum to be less thick and more comfortable to wear, a slight softening of  a spoon of coconut oil added to approximately 3 spoons of Castor Oil will do the trick.

I like to apply mine with a disposable mascara wand that makes it fuss free and hygienic as you can wack it on and throw away your wand or rinse it if you want to re-use. I recommend storing the mixture in a pot for approximately 3 weeks before making a fresh batch.. but man oh man this is a real saviour!

Do this method every night or as often as possible and witness the results right before your very eyes.

Have you heard of this method before? What do you swear by?

  2. YES MATE. Castor oil is the one! I've been using it on my hairline for about a year and it's grown so much! I think i'll start using it on my lashes too; great tip!
