Waffles, Hot Chocolates & Girly Chats

It's not very often that you meet people you have an instant connection with and since that has only happened twice in my lifetime - I can happily say that Lucy and Lydia are one of them. After leaving it well over a month without seeing each other, we set time aside to have a catch up and girly day in Norwich. We did a bit of shopping but our time was consumed by endless chats and giggles with of course, some good food.

We first stopped at Pandora's Kitchen which was a cute little cafe that did all sorts of hot drinks along with savoury and sweet nibbles. That said, being told that the Orange Hot Chocolates are 'amazing' - we couldn't have ordered them quicker. They were presented so well when they arrived and judging by how fast we guzzled them, it's safe to say they were pretty epic. After a wander round town, our next pit stop involved some seriously delicious desserts. 7heaven has only recently opened and was such a cute little place that had a cosy feel to it. The menu left us spoilt for choice but the belgian waffles were so tempting that we all opted just for some sweet potato fries to ensure we had plenty of room. The fries didn't stick around long and I followed that up with the Banoffee  & butterscotch sauce waffle while Lucy ordered the Eton Mess version and Lydia decided on the Milk Chocolate. Each of them were incredible and digging into these were the only times it was even remotely quiet between us. As we ordered a variety, we had to try some of each others and we collectively agreed we couldn't have chosen a favourite since they were all just TOO DAMN GOOD.

The girls vlogged the day so keep your eyes peeled over HERE on their channel for that and obviously subscribe if you haven't already! I had the loveliest day with two of the loveliest people so I owe the biggest thank you to Lucy and Lydia for everything! Also, I have to say that if those pictures haven't left you wanting a visiting to Norwich soon, I don't know what will and if you do find yourself in that neck of the woods - you know where to go.
